I have been an avid photographer since the late 1980s. I enjoy all aspects of photography - both technical and creative. I enjoy both film and digital photography.
I enjoy expressing myself through my images and get a great sense of satisfaction by connecting with nature.
My nature photography encompasses landscape, macro, general wildlife and birding.
I enjoyed macrophotography of Insects & Arachnids from the early 2000s up until a few years ago when I realised that my eyesight was no longer allowing myself to be able to accurately focus on my tiny subject's eyes.
I have always had a keen interest in birds and decided to take up birding photography in a more serious manner in April 2021.
Other photography genres that I wish to explore in the future are studio portraiture, architectural photography, film street photography, and astrophotography.
Other interests and hobbies are Computers, Astronomy, plastic model kits, gaming and watching movies.
I have a long history of working in IT related roles, but switched to working as a Disability Support Worker (DSW) in mid-2019.
I currently reside in Brisbane, Australia, but I am originally from Sydney, NSW.
I am proud of my Aboriginal heritage.
