another eastern grey kangaroo shot. i know it has the facial markings typical of red kangaroos, but Toowoomba (where this shot was taken) is out of range for them, and it also had a pale belly, which you can't see in this photo. size was another differentiator. i have been "outback" several times with my late father when i was younger and seen red kangaroos - they are much more massive.
