Small to medium sized parrots, typically found in the central interior of Australia. This particular pair are captive birds, at the Ipswich city bird sanctuary. They are now sadly near-threatened, with their numbers, like many of Australia's native parrots, in decline.
We are lucky to have 4 as pets and they are beautiful, gentle birds.
