beautiful, fast flying and acrobatic insect eaters. they will often catch bees in flight, returning to a perch and bashing the bee against a tree branch to dislodge the stinger, before eating it. typically weary of humans. these are quite small birds, about the same size as Apple's iphone 12 mini. males have a long streamers (this is an image of a male),whereas females have a much shorter streamers.
